DRAFT BANDIT
BRAND GUIDE — V1
The machine is a bandit.
Slot machines have been called one-armed bandits for a century. Ours grew a mask, a tail, and a taste for other people's draft picks. Draft Bandit is the raccoon in the casino — it robs your league in plain sight, and it prints a receipt for every crime.
01 — THE IDEA
The idea
Three principles decide every design and copy call. If a choice violates one, it loses.
Steal in public
Every spin happens in front of the whole league and lands on the receipts. The bandit never works in the dark — that's the joke, and the trust model.
The reels are theater, the odds are honest
Outcomes are decided server-side by a seeded, logged RNG before the reels ever move. The drama is staged; the fairness isn't.
Charming, never mean
The bandit robs picks, not people. It gloats about loot, cracks wise about lemons, and never punches down at the player who just got tanked.
02 — THE MARK
The mark
A geometric raccoon built from flat shapes, so it stays sharp from hero art down to a 16px favicon. The mask always runs past the edges of the face — a raccoon wears its markings; a bandit ties them on.
The peek
The signature move: the bandit surfaces behind a surface it shouldn't be on, paws on the edge, eyes on the loot. It appears exactly once per screen — on the marquee — and nowhere else. Two peeks on one screen is a raccoon infestation.

One raccoon · answers to “Bandit”
Last seen leaving with the №1 pick
— Reward: first overall —
MASCOT ART GENERATED WITH OPENART, VECTORIZED IN-REPO. THE GEOMETRIC MARK STILL WORKS THE FAVICONS AND SMALL SIZES.
The bandit himself
The illustrated mascot carries hero moments: the brand page, empty states, launch announcements, and nothing smaller than 160px — below that he loses his smirk and the geometric mark takes over. He leans, he never stands at attention; he touches the machine in every pose, because the machine is his.
Alternate poses live in /brand/art/ — the toothy grin is reserved for jackpot moments.
- Never recolor the mask — the mask is the brand.
- Never tilt the mark more than ±4°; mischief, not vertigo.
- Never put the mark on siren red — the bandit is not the alarm.
- Never add a second raccoon. There is one bandit.
03 — THE ICONS
The icons
Every icon is generated with OpenArt from one locked style prompt — one subject per generation, then traced to SVG in-repo with the night background keyed out. Each action's color is baked into its own art.
SUPPORTING CAST
Non-action utilities share the same grid and stroke. They stay in fur tones — color is reserved for actions.
Rules
- One subject per generation — icon sheets drift off-model; single icons hold the line.
- Same prompt scaffold every time: chunky shapes, thick near-black outline, flat color, no gradients.
- A miss gets regenerated, never hand-edited — the prompt is the source of truth.
- The steal icon is the mask itself. It outranks the others on purpose.
04 — COLOR
Color
Alley heist at 2am: violet night, silver fur, gold loot. Click any swatch to copy its hex.
The night
The violet dark the bandit works in. Backgrounds only — never text.
The loot
The gold worth stealing. Primary buttons, bulbs, jackpots, focus rings.
The signals
Sparingly. Siren is the alarm going off; cash is the getaway car pulling away clean.
The fur
Raccoon silver, violet-cast. All reading happens in fur.
The tape
The receipt survives every rebrand. Warm paper, warm ink, unchanged since day one.
The take
One color per action, on reel cards and receipts. Functional, not decorative — never reassign them.
05 — TYPE
Type
Three faces, three jobs. Nothing quietly does double duty.
DISPLAY — LILITA ONE
Caps only. Machine moments only: buttons, banners, jackpots.
PULL THE LEVER,
GUARD YOUR PICK.
ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ 0123456789 №·—?!
BODY — NUNITO
Everything people read.
Rounded where the display face is rounded, sturdy at small sizes, and friendly without trying to be funny. Semibold for emphasis; italics almost never.
Send the password separately — the link alone won't get anyone in. Unclaimed managers still get drafted onto the board.
TAPE — IBM PLEX MONO
THE RECEIPTS, PICK NUMBERS, ROOM CODES
- №017 BLAKE STEALS PICK 3 FROM RYAN
- №018 SHIELD — PICK 3 IS BANDIT-PROOF (3 SPINS)
- №019 THREE LEMONS. NOTHING HAPPENS.
THE TAPE STAYS THE TAPE — IT DID NOT REBRAND, AND NEVER WILL.
06 — VOICE
Voice
Mischievous, specific, and on the player's side. The bandit talks like a getaway driver who genuinely wants everyone to have a good night.
Rules of the road
- Buttons say what happens. “FIRE UP THE BANDIT” starts a lobby; “CASH OUT” locks the order. No “Submit”, ever.
- Errors are direct and calm. What happened, what to do next. The bandit gloats at picks, never at people — and never apologizes twice.
- Flavor rides on top of clarity. A rule line states the mechanic first; the raccoon gets the second clause.
SPECIMENS — REAL STRINGS
- “Snatches someone's pick right out of their paws — everyone between slides over.”
- “7·7·7 — the vault opens. The puller takes any pick they want, shields be damned.”
- “Sleeper isn't responding — try again in a moment.”
07 — MOTION & MOTIFS
Motion & motifs
One signature moment per screen; everything else is quiet. Reduced-motion turns the theater off and loses nothing.
The bulbs
Marquee bulbs idle at a slow pulse and strobe only while the reels spin. Bulbs mean “the machine is alive” — never use them as generic decoration.
The mask band
The bandit's stripe, flattened into a divider — pointed at both ends, like it's tied on. Section breaks and seals only. If everything wears the mask, nothing does.
Paper tilts, pixels don't
Receipts and posters sit a degree or two off square, like they were slapped on a wall on the way out the door. Panels, buttons, and the board stay perfectly straight — the game surface is never crooked.
Earned celebrations
Sparks and camera shake are reserved for jackpots, rockets, and board-flips. Confetti appears exactly once: when the final order locks. A celebration that fires every spin is a car alarm.
